Have you ever tried to create a specific celebrity, an anime-inspired character, or a realistic portrait of yourself, only to find that the in-game sliders won't move far enough? You pull the "nose width" slider all the way to the right, but it still looks unnatural. You push the "eye size" slider, but it barely changes.
Sliders are usually safe to place in subfolders (e.g., /Mods/CAS/Sliders/ ). However, if the slider uses a script ( .ts4script ), it must go no more than one folder deep (e.g., /Mods/Sliders/ ).
In technical terms, vanilla Sims 4 sliders are restricted by EA to a range of roughly -100% to +100% (with 0 being the default clay face). The expanded sliders mod pushes this boundary to -200% or +200%, sometimes even further.
Without it, you are playing with action figures. With it, you are sculpting digital clay. You can finally break the cycle of "Same Face Syndrome," create a world populated by truly unique individuals, and replicate the exact human (or alien) anatomy you envision.
After the patch update, my Sims have no face. Solution: Remove your slider mods, load the game (Sims will regenerate default faces), save, exit, and download the updated version of the sliders. The Verdict: Is It Worth the Risk? Yes. Absolutely.
Do not download from random re-upload sites. Use Patreon , The Sims Resource , or Tumblr (official creator pages). Look for .package files.
My Sim's face looks fine in CAS, but in Live Mode, their eyes are bulging out. Solution: You used a "Translation" slider (moving the eye forward) that the Live Mode animations don't like. Stick to "Scale" and "Rotation" sliders for eyes, not "Forward/Back."
