The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite (codenamed "Agassi" or "Agassi-L" ) was released in 2018 as a mid-range champion. With its Harman Kardon-tuned speakers, a decent 10.1-inch Full HD display, and an integrated stylus, it was a fantastic device for media consumption and light productivity.

Fast forward to today, however, and the story changes. Huawei has long ceased software support for this tablet. The device is stuck on with EMUI 9.1.
