Tighten the retaining screw (do not over-torque). Remove the key, re-insert it, and test the lock 5-10 times. The key should rotate smoothly without grinding.
Insert the included "Top" key into the new cylinder. Turn it so the cam (the rotating part that moves the latch) is in the neutral position. multikey 1822 top
